RIP Oliver Postgate. Gone to the great junk shop in the sky.

It was my fervent wish as a child to have small clockwork mice who had a chocolate biscuit making machine. I didn't care that it was the same biscuit going round and round. 

*makes sad little Clanger noise in mourning*

I absolutely love(d) Bagpuss! My favourite mug is still a Bagpuss mug. The whole show was just so perfect, and lovely to watch even now. And I must admit to loving the phrase "But Emily loved him" as it sums up so much about the world and the nature of love.

Yes! The fact that you can be old and saggy, and falling apart at the seams a bit and someone will still love you!
