I love this place but it weird’s me out sometimes.

Last month, just after commenting on the slashability of the Petrelli brothers from Heroes, I saw two guys on the tube that looked quite like them. Not dead on but enough that because they were sitting next to each other you noticed it.

Today on my way to work on the tube, right after posting the Ryan/Connor fic last night, I saw their doppelgangers!
And yes, these guys were again sat right next to each other and a pre-disposition of the sub-conscious towards the archetype could mean even a slight resemblance would do, but really, this time the likeness was uncanny.
The Connor wasn’t quite as accurate – short hair and face a bit thinner, but the Ryan? My hand to god – Exact. Double.
Mouth, eyes, hair, jaw – everything the same. I think I freaked the guy out staring. The only reason I decided it wasn’t actually Mark Wakeling was because as far as I know he’s not got body-modification ear plugs in both ears.

Well, I have thought long and hard about these two occurrences and have decided there is only one rational explanation.

I am developing the psychic power to manifest my slash characters physically.

And I’m getting more accurate at it.

The next logical step hit me at once. I must now spend all my time chanting ‘Don and Charlie, Don and Charlie’ until those two turn up, whereupon I will lock them somewhere secure for closer study.

Because, of course, I could only ever use my new superhuman talent for good. ::smirk::

Ummm... milady, the Evil Overlord of Numb3rs fandom, has already thrown me in her dungeon at least twice now for terrorising Dr Rodney McKay into first inventing cloning, and then fitting the toaster out with asgard beaming technology so that I could make a run for it with Don while she was pre-occupied with Coop...

Took me ages to get out, and she banned me from going anywhere near McKay... the lillylivered chicked!

But, but *splutter* - that's just dashed unsporting of her!

Just for that I shall borrow the motor of a certain Doctor acquaintance of mine and make multiple time jumps to collect as many Don's as I can.
OK, this will cause a time paradox and destroy the universe, but I don't play nice when thwarted.

We'll need a couple of Jack Harkness's, Captain Tom Ryan's, Billy Cooper's, Ian Edgerton's and ... okay, a Charlie or two... while you're out.

Why don't we throw in a Connor and an Ianto or two as well? Tell you what, we head over to Criminal Minds and we can grab some Morgan Reid's too - with that lot and Charlie as well, we can have ourselves a little brainiac/geek corral! Yeehaw!

You forgot the Petrelli brothers! Peter's powers could come in handy when Milady comes after us...

The Winchester boys could be useful in a pinch too, but maybe we have enough incest to be getting on with?

I could loan you the cloning machine Raeyashi and I built...when we were working out how to get our hands on Max Martini without becoming evil homewreckers. I also have it on good authority that the By the Numb3rs chat people have a handy cloning gun.

Just offering some peaceful options....I've had my Max clone for over a year now, and he's shown no problems or major variations from the original. He really enjoys watching himself on tv, but so do I so that's not a problem. :)

That's a very good idea, as I've had two Don's self-destruct on me - quite messily - in the past week alone.
