That was pretty much my favourite quote of the whole episode! :D

There was rooftop-ness *melodramatic forehead splat* but on the other side they did so much stuff from my plus list than even the rooftopness was flavoured with some of that awesome. Really it was just ridiculous fun!

And yeah! Fun! After the (whisper it) sometimes trying-too-hardness of the last series this episode was great! Car chases and guns and bars and fighting and kissing and OMG paralysing lipbalm! LOL!!
SO looking forward to the next one.

Mmmmm... just watched it now. I'd forgotten how cute Ianto was (and I really shouldn't be perving someone that much younger than me. Bad me.).

That seemed to work a lot better than series one, and I didn't hate most of the characters by the end of the episode, which was a plus.

And Andy the cop was great, I do like the continuity with little bit character like him.

Hmmm...I seem to be sitting on the fence here. There was much fangirly squeeing while I was actually watching the ep (how much did I LOVE Captain John????!!!!!), and overall it was pretty decent.

But I was left feeling like it was a bit of a case of style over substance. When you got past the Jack/John and Jack/Ianto stuff, the plot was pretty lame.

And WTF was going on with the Jack/Gwen stuff????? I really wish they'd give up on that.

Still, the little hint at the end was cool...

The main thing I don't like about it is Jack/Gwen, but the rest was made of win, and James Marsters was great. The rest was totally hilariously slashy, and I loved the blowfish and the "Bloody Torchwood!" line!!
